Humour in the British style heads to the Lester centre stage this weekend

Fresh from his appearance at the auctioneers panel of this weeks Prince Rupert Rotary Auction, Keith Lambourne will take his witty repertoire of British humour back to the stage of the Lester Centre on Saturday night.

The event will put Mr. Lambourne who has been a popular  past participant in a number of community theatre presentations in recent years back at centre stage once again.

The night of comedy offering up another opportunity to explore the sense of humour and timing that has helped the local thespian to bring his previous roles to life both at the Lester Centre and the Tom Rooney Playhouse.

Saturday night's event will see the jovial Brit host a night of Stand Up Storytelling, an event taking place under the banner of An Evening of English Nonsense ...

A theme that perhaps conjures up the vision of a tempting smorgasbord of jokes on fine British cuisine, the ways of British Soccer and maybe one or two yarns about the Royal family, along with some notes on his travels here in the colonies.

All of the fun that is in store will be in support of a night that will be raising funds for the theatre.

Showtime for all of the English Nonsense is 8 PM, Tickets coast 20 dollars for the show.

The evening comes with a warning that there will be mature subject matter as part of the performance!

You can learn more about the event from the Facebook page that has been created for the event
