Snowfall warning issued for inland areas of North Coast




Residents of Terrace, Smithers, Kitimat and beyond will be back in a shovelling frame of mind by the time tomorrow morning dawns, with Environment Canada issuing a Snowfall Warning for the North Coast Inland regions and into the Bulkley Valley for tonight.



Total accumulations are anticipated be from 20 to 25 centimetres as a Pacific frontal system arrives on the North Coast this evening and works its way inland.

For Prince Rupert the weather system will bring rain and wind through the evening and into Tuesday, with up to 35 mm to come by Tuesday overnight, the precipitation will continue through into the weekend.
