Night Number one for the Prince Rupert Rotary Auction in the books, two nights remain to claim your bargains

The First of Three nights of bargain hunting got underway on Monday
as Prince Rupert's Rotarian's launched the 2017 edition of the Rotary Auction

Some familiar faces and a few new ones took to the auctioneers desk at the Lester Centre on Monday evening, as the 53rd edition of the Prince Rupert Rotary Auction hit the airwaves of CityWest Cable and Internet streaming platforms.

The auctioneers took charge of the airwaves at 6:30 quickly dispatching Rotarian volunteer drivers to destinations across the city with purchases through the night.

Just under 700 items have been donated for this years auction, totalling over 89,000 dollars in value and offering residents of the North Coast and beyond with the chance to do some Christmas Shopping as well as to help out a range of Rotary projects in the community.

With the puns, community fun and bargains available until Wednesday night

In addition to the bargains up for bid, the Rotary auction also has 750 Club tickets available for purchase until the cash prize award of Wednesday night takes place, as well those that participate in the three night event will also have a chance to win a 1,0000 dollar travel voucher.

While focused on the North Coast, those living out of the region can also take advantage of the bargains from participating Prince Rupert merchants and businesses, Those who live within the Bandstra Trucking service area can have their purchases transported for free to Bandstra warehouses across the Northwest.

The Rotarians pick up where they left off last evening, when night number two gets underway at 6:30, live from Prince Rupert's Lester Centre.
