The latest review of the For Sale listings from local Realtors finds Prince Rupert getting close to joining the million dollar listings club of other larger communities, with a property on the west side of the city just a few thousand dollars short of that benchmark on high end housing.
Regular readers of the blog will know that each Monday we offer up a review of the city's high end real estate, the measuring stick that tends to drive the pricing structure for the region and sets the pace for the rest of the housing stock for sale in the community.
This week, our review finds the home listed at 2324 Graham bringing us 5,000 dollars away from the million dollar club, an asking price of 995,000 introduced to home buyers, which will turn the keys over to a view property over Prince Rupert harbour.
The property listing which has Prince Rupert bubbling just under the million dollar mark is a 4,690 square foot home, on a lot just short of 6,600 square feet. It features five bedrooms, four bathrooms and includes a water side view of Prince Rupert harbour.
The home was constructed 12 years ago and in the description of the property it's noted that only the finest of materials, appliance and workmanship were implemented in the construction and outfitting of the property.
The Graham Avenue area has long been the desired address for many in the area when it comes to high end property listings, this week finds five properties listed from that one section of the city, ranging from 649 thousand dollars, to the newest entry just a shade below the million dollar mark.
Of our list of ten, the Graham area takes the first four property listings of the ten. With its introduction to the review, the latest listing for the Graham Avenue area brings the combined value of all this week's list of ten comes to almost 7 million dollars.
