Yacht Club construction project edges closer to completion

Work on the Prince Rupert Yacht Club has seen some significant progress in the last few months with the structure starting to bear a strong resemblance to the original sketch design that was presented to the community a few years ago.

A few delays along the way slowed down the pace of construction but a weekend stop at the Cow Bay waterfront shows that footprint of the new building is taking its place among some of the exciting developments that have been seen in that area of the city in recent months.

No date has been noted by the Yacht Club yet as to when they hope to have the construction process complete, or when they plan to make the move into the much larger and more spacious accommodations overlooking the harbour.

We last checked in on the pace of construction back in April, you can review the timeline for the project from our blog post of April 11th.
