Jillian LeBlanc, the former Prince Rupert resident who has offered a scholarship for female graduates of SD52 to further their leadership ambitions is adding to her commitment to her hometown, with Ms. Leblanc hosting a Leadership Training session this Sunday at the PAC 10 offices at 110 First Avenue West.

The project which is open to 2018 and 2019 graduates will provide for five hours of discussion from 12:30 to 5:30 on themes of leadership, with a range of guests on hand to share their expertise in a number of areas.
Joining the host for the five hours of training will be guest participants MP Nathan Cullen, MLA Jennifer Rice, Prince Rupert Mayor Lee Brain and Metlakatla's Assistant Treaty Negotiator Jocelyn Mitchell.
Ms. LeBlanc who graduated from Charles Hays Secondary in 2012 and has been working on Parliament Hill in Ottawa and engaged in initiatives around the region following her studies in the nations' capital.
She has has also worked for NDP MP Nathan Cullen in his Smithers constituency office and has become a passionate advocate for women to become more involved in the political process, whether local, provincial or federal.
