Fast pace to Rotary Christmas Tree Sales

Customers were quick to the tennis courts at 6th West and McBride
this weekend as the annual Rotary Christmas Tree Sale got underway

The winter like atmosphere of the weekend and the arrival of Christmas Trees on Friday made for just the right conditions for brisk early sales for the Annual Rotary Club Christmas Tree Sale.

Twitter provides the salute to the hard work of the members of the Prince Rupert Minor Hockey U 13 Rep  and U 18 hockey teams handled the unloading of the Bandstra truck at the Tennis Courts on Sixth West at McBride.

By Saturday morning the sale was on, with a steady clientele of tree buyers making for their measurements and decisions through the weekend and into Monday.

The Sale continues this week from 4:30 to 6:30 with weekend hours on Saturday of Noon to 6 PM and Sunday's from 2 to 5PM.

Best to make a trip early in the week however, supplies are limited and the eager buyers plentiful.

The last day for the Sale is noted as December 19th, unless the trees are going, going, gone before that date.

The money raised by the Rotary Club through the annual Tree Sale is redirected towards their many programs and activities across the community.
