It's one of the most popular photographic competitions in the city, with the successful photo artist finding their finished work in every home and business in the Prince Rupert area.

As has become a summer ritual for CityWest, the Prince Rupert based Northwest communication company is currently accepting submissions for their annual Phone Book Cover selection process.

The announcement of the call for submissions appears on CityWest bills this month, noting that photos will be accepted at CityWest until August 9th.

The winning photo will be announced on August 26th and will be the featured item on the 2020 phone book to be distributed across the city later this year.

You can submit your pictures focused on Prince Rupert settings to marketing@cwct.ca

Last year saw 75 photos submitted from the large volume of talented Northwest photographers, with CityWest working their way through the photos to come to a final ten for consideration, with the process then handed over to the public for a public voting.

The 2018 competition count topped over 1,200 votes, with a Robb Rydde's photographic skills earning him his fourth CityWest phone book cover.

More details on the scope of this years photo campaign and CityWest's plans for August will be coming shortly.

If you would like more information on the 2020 Cover photo call for submissions contact the CityWest Marking Department at 250-624-2111
