Two arrested as Prince Rupert RCMP executed search warrants in two locations last week


The Prince Rupert RCMP has released some background to a case file from July 4th which saw members of the Detachment serve search warrants related to a drug trafficking investigation on two residences on the West side of the city.

Mounties served warrants on a residence on the 100 block of 8th West, as well as one on the 1600 block of Park Avenue.

As a result of the investigation, a 50 year old man and 48 year old woman were arrested in connection to the case file, charged with Possession for the purpose of Trafficking.

During the course of their search of the two properties, members located and seized a significant amount of cash, drug paraphernalia and various types of suspected drugs.
