Friday Night Benefit Concert set to raise funds for Ukraine War refugees

The Stage at Prince Rupert's Lester Centre will come to life
this Friday night as a wide range of local music and dance
artists lend their talents to a night of fundraising in aid
of Ukrainian Relief  and Resettlement programs in the community

The city's social groups and artistic talents are coming together this Friday night in aid of fundraising for Ukrainian War Refugee Support with an evening of entertainment set for the Lester Centre of the Arts, with Doors opening at 6:15 PM and the entertainment for the night starting at 7PM.

The event which will have admittance by donation (tickets available here)  has lined up a wide collection of entertainers to show their support, while those behind the scenes at the Lester Centre are also lending their support by way of contributions of any tips from the cocktail lounge area to the local fund.

The night has been organized by the Rupert Society for Refugee Support which notes that all of the donations from Friday night will be put towards helping to relocate Ukrainian refugees who will be resettling in the Prince Rupert area.

As part of the fundraising, there will be raffle tickets available for purchase, as well as a loonie auction and Live Auction.

Organizers have a goal of raising 50,000 dollars from the event.
