This Sunday marks a worship service that will welcome the entire community to celebrate, as St. Paul's Lutheran Church hosts a Prelude to Pride Worship service on May 29th at 11AM.
Pastor Diana Edis and those preparing for the Sunday service make note of what the service will offer for those in attendance at the Church at the corner of McBride and Fifth Avenue West.
As lesbian, gay, bi, trans, queer, two spirit, intersex, and asexual (LGBTQ2SIA+) communities get ready for Pride Month, the service invites everyone to join in worship of a God who loves and cares for all their people.
We gather to worship a loving and affirming God.
St. Paul’s also makes note of their plans to make this an annual event that will hopefully be part of other Pride Month festivities to celebrate equality for LGBTQ2SIA+ people.
For those that can't attend in person you can't join the service through Facebook Live!
More on the Sunday service can be explored through the St. Paul's Facebook Page
