One of the city's top visual attractions and areas for quiet selection will be getting its annual refresh this weekend, with the members of the Prince Rupert Garden Club set to take on their spring planting program for the Sunken Gardens behind the Prince Rupert Court House.
A recent Social media posting, provided the blue print for the weekend of work, with the plants ordered and set to arrive on Friday, with planting to begin on Saturday starting at 11 AM with a Sunday session also on the list if required.

As they note, there is no experience required for those looking to help out, with organizers hoping for a large turnout from the community to get the planting done and in place as quickly as possible.

Once in full bloom, the Sunken Gardens makes for a popular area for local residents and those visiting the city to stop by, as well as to make for a spectacular backdrop for Grad or Wedding photos.
