Prince Rupert Victim Services preparing for local luncheon in honour of victims and survivors of traumatic events

Next week has been proclaimed National Victims of Crime Week across Canada, with events and commemorations set for communities across the nation to honour those who have victims and survivors of traumatic events.

In the Prince Rupert area, the North Coast Victim Services team is hosting a special luncheon on Thursday May 19th to take place from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Highliner Plaza Hotel in the Tsimshian Ballroom.

Among those speaking at the event will be Debbie Scarborough, Provincial Manager, Women and Child Protection and BC First Nations Justice Council.
