Municipal and Regional politics dominated our most read items for the week, with both bodies of government in the area finding much to discuss.
From Prince Rupert City Council the items that caught the most attention from our readers focused on Major project development, the Mayor's final State of the City presentation from Tuesday night and the expanding work on McBride that is going to see a near one million dollar bill and continue on through most of July, if not into August.
North Coast Regional Government also met this month and two of their items capture the interest of readers.
The first the annual releases of the Statement of Financial Information, providing listings on salaries, Regional District expenditures and grant awards. The second NCRD item relates to their efforts to support the Port Edward Harbour Authority as it advocates for those who use the Fairview Fishing Docks area.
The top item of the week takes us back to 424 Third West and puts the focus on the ongoing work towards Major projects by City of Prince Rupert Council and staff.
