City calls on public to advise on darkened street lights

Faulty or non working
streetlights can be
called in to the City
With the days about to get significantly shorter, the nights longer and darkness taking a larger share our daily experiences, the City of Prince Rupert is asking for updates on any street lights that may need a repair.

Posting an item to the City of Prince Rupert Social Media account last week, the City reminded residents of their designated street light reporting line, where residents can call in faulty or non working street lights for attention from public works crews.

To report one in your neighbourhood, all you have to do is call 250-627-0988, be sure to make note of the nearest intersection when you call in your advisory.

Some residents have taken a more direct route to the Friday post, providing some thoughts on where repairs may be needed or other safety concerns, you can review those contributions here.

More items of note on civic themes can be explored here.
