Cruise season winding down as Seabourn Sojourn makes second last port call at Northland Terminal today

Back at Berth, a familiar sight for Prince Rupert harbour this year, as the
Seabourn Sojourn made her seventh of eight port calls at Northland today

The 2019 Prince Rupert Cruise season is nearing its final port call, and today brought the Seabourn Sojourn into town with the potential for 450 guests to get a glimpse of the city from just after the 8AM arrival until the ship heads out at 6PM tonight.

Members of Prince Rupert's Cruise Ambassadors were located along the Northland Promenade to offer assistance and make recommendations for those looking for attractions to check out while they were in town.

Those that did head ashore were met by a mixed weather day, with what at times were heavy showers exchanging places with sunshine off and on through the morning and afternoon.

Still with umbrellas in hand and rain gear on, many took to the shore based excursions, or just wandered through the Cow Bay and Downtown areas during the course of the ten hour stopover at the Northland Terminal.

The Prince Rupert Cruise calendar has but two more entries for 2019, the Ponant Line's L'Austral will arrive at Northland on Thursday afternoon.

That visit will be followed by the last vessel of the year and the final port call for the Sojourn which returns on October 5th to bid farewell to Prince Rupert until next season.
