The Prince Rupert Cruise Season may be winding down, but the Seabourn Sojourn called on the Northland Terminal today and has plans for two more visits before the season warps October 5 |
The rains held off until mid afternoon for the guests of the Seabourn Sojourn, as the vessel that is quite a familiar sight in Prince Rupert made its third last port call on the city for this 2019 Cruise Season.
The Sojourn arrived at 8AM at the Northland Cruise Terminal, sending a potential 450 visitors to take to the City's streets, or some of the shore-based excursions that make for Prince Rupert's North Coast Experience.
Most were able to travel around the Cow Bay shops or along the Third Avenue shopping areas without need of a raincoat or umbrella, though they no doubt kept an eye on the skies as the latest Pacific weather system announced its arrival shortly after 2 PM.
The vessel will transit out of Prince Rupert Harbour shortly after 6 PM tonight
Some passengers began to make their way back to the vessel in the afternoon as the weather took a turn for the worse |
With less than a month to go in the 2019 season, the Sojourn will have two more visits on September 23rd and then to bring down the curtain on the year on Saturday October 5th.
Also due in port before the city calls it a season will be the Star Legend on September 22nd and L'Austral on September 26th.
