The Prince Rupert Friendship House hosts its Annual AGM tonight |
Prince Rupert's Friendship House will be offering a chance for residents to learn more about their past year of work and what's ahead for the community resource, as they host their Annual General Meeting tonight at their Fraser Street home.
The local organization has introduced a number of programs in recent months and just last week received a bit of provincial notice, as Lieutenant Governor Janet Austin shared some of her time at the Prince Rupert centre.
As part of her two and half day stay in the City, the Queen's Representative in British Columbia took part in some children's programming, as well as to learn more about the popular kitchen program offered by the Friendship Centre.
You can get some background on some of what they have to offer the community from both the Friendship House Facebook Page and website.
Tonight's Annual General Meeting starts at 5:30 PM
