First to the Post! Election season means the launch of Prince Rupert's election sign parade

The Writ has dropped and here come the political signs for
the 2019 Federal Election

Prince Rupert's version of Speaker's Corner, has seen its first sign of the 2019 election season with the campaign workers for Taylor Bachrach staking out the best turf at the Court House today, setting up their message making at the highly visible corner of McBride and Second Avenue.

And while the Bachrach team were first to the post at the Court House as well as at other spots around town, it won't be too long down the road before the Court House and many other prime locations around the city feature a wide selection of campaign signs.

The signs set to highlight the message from all of the candidates seeking to earn your vote and to take the seat in the House of Commons that was last held by the departing MP Nathan Cullen.

As the campaign moves on towards October 21st and voting day, you can keep up to speed on the campaign themes from all through our Skeena-Bulkley Valley archive page here.

From that portal you can not only follow the day to day notes of the campaign across the vast expense of Skeena-Bulkley Valley, but also access our individual pages that focus on each of the candidates for the riding.

As well, over on our political blog D'Arcy McGee, we have just launched our National Election Archive.

That project will provide notes on the campaigns of the leaders of all of Canada's political parties. As well as to explore the themes each party is seeking to deliver as they criss cross the nation over the next thirty nine days seeking our votes and sharing their messages.

You can access that archive here.
