Weekend Roads lead to Terrace for Market enthusiasts; with Season Opening Day for Skeena Valley Farmer's Market


Tomorrow marks the start of one of the more popular weekend events in the Northwest, with the Skeena Valley Farmers Market set to kick of the 2022 season tomorrow morning at 9AM with the market open until 1PM.

The Farmers Market is so popular with Prince Rupert residents that on most Saturday's through the Spring and Summer you're likely to run into a familiar face from the North Coast wandering the stalls and checking out the produce from area farms or the baking from regional kitchens.

Artisans and crafters also have space at the George Little Park location which also features Food Trucks, music and a lot more.

Saturday's debut for 2022 features two musical acts for the four hours. 

Brian Sears from 9-11 AM 

Followed by Segue who will be enterating market goers from 11AM-1 PM

Following the season opener event tomorrow. the Market destination will then be open every Saturday through to the end of October.

The Skeena Valley Farmer's Market is located at George Little Park
(see top of map) in the heart of Downtown Terrace. It's just west of the
Terrace Sportsplex and Aquatic Centre
