Chamber of Commerce set to host Voices of Commerce this evening at Coast Mountain College

Some work towards Redesign Rupert 2030 planning will take place tonight, as the Prince Rupert and District Chamber of Commerce hosts a round table discussion to explore new ideas in community development.

The evening session called Voices of Commerce will take place from 5 to 7 PM, set for the Multi-Purpose room at Coast Mountain College and will put some focus on such areas as urban design and infrastructure, as well as economic inclusion.

Also up for further review will be how to involve Arts, Culture and Recreation, as well as well as how innovation and sustainability can help to move forward community goals.

The findings from this evenings discussion will then be shared with the business community and help to inform the Chamber of Commerce on  future engagement projects such as workshops and community activities.

The night's work will also help to deliver methods of further support and advocacy for the Prince Rupert and area business community.

You can find out more about the evening program from the Facebook page created for it.
