Humpbacks rule the waves and the cover of the next CityWest phone book

Humpbacks in the Harbour will make for the 2020 CityWest
Phone book cover after this years winning submission was voted
on by participants in an online vote

CityWest has put the wrap on another summer call for photo submissions for their 2020 Telephone Directory cover, with Captain Doug Davis from Prince Rupert Adventure Tours submission of a pod of humpback whales bubble-net feeding in Prince Rupert harbour selected by the voters as this years choice.

As we outlined last month, the photo was one of ten that made the final cut after a month long submission period through July

The ten finalists were revealed to the public in mid August with the last day for online voting that of August 30th.

The successful photo winner was announced on the CityWest Facebook page on September 1st.

The phone books should begin to arrive at homes and businesses in the city in late November or early December.
